I use mine with a rooftop 3G and 4g aerial
It certainly does make a difference from time to time

I'd suggest getting a tube of Silkafkex sealant too as the self adhesive pad supplied does not provide a perfect seal
I've fitted two now and it's a really simple job with great results

I've just bought one of these for my E5577 and was testing it today. It works fine and I got a 30 Mbps rate for both upload and download at home, the best BT Internet can manage is under 20 download and about 5 upload! It was critical where the aerial was placed and on a MH a roof-mounted one would be better and I may get one later, but at £30 this is a good one to try. Whatever model you get check it has the right connectors.
