I am collecting my new lhd Globecar from Germany next week and was wondering if anyone could help me with part numbers for rhd headlights so I can get them ordered. The van is Citroen based but I believe Fiat headlights are a lot cheaper. Been quoted £631 each plus vat by local Citroen dealer. These are the ones with led daytime running lights but I believe the standard ones would fit. Any help would be much appreciated.

Can't help with the part number, but Fiat ones are about £450 each.

If you dont do much night driving in the UK why not just get the stickers on the beam line. The MOT guy did this on my Bike and it always passed with an Italian lamp.

I am thinking of buying the much cheaper lights without the LEDs but understand that will put a on a warning light on the dash. With that in mind I doubt if the German dealer would be happy about doing it. As we only use the van abroad I plan to refit the original lights after registration so can't see the point of paying for the much more expensive option.

Sorry I don't know of any third party source for the new model. I can't see any alternative to using the dealer as suggested.

I think the standard ones are only £250 you need to check the loom is the same & they won't upset the CANBUS system.

Living the dream.
Have you had a look on Ebey for a pair of pattern replacements (not original) for my 53 plate Boxer they are £38.00 each. I realise you need a newer model but worth a look, it doesn't matter if they aren't top quality.

Yes I've had a look on eBay but none for the x290

Lenny...... I understand the loom is the same and the cheaper ones will work with just a light coming on the dash. As its only temporary that won't matter. My problem is that I can't order the cheaper ones from Fiat as a vin number is needed and my new van, being a Citroen base obviously has a Citroen vin number. I might have to borrow a vin number off a Fiat x290.

If a 2014 fiat ducato are the same Euro car parts have some listed at under £100 also worth looking at the Citroen ones in euro car parts. No listing for any newer for Fiat

Borrowing (or renting) a pair sounds like a great idea. Anyone near to North Devon interested? I'm sure a suitable fee could be agreed!!!

Why not borrow some just for the test, then return them to the person and fit yours with beam deflectors afterwards.
