A happy Burns Day to one and all from a very mild North of Scotland. What better day to join as a funster. Having just paid my subs, a complete newbie with no van, I am confident that the advice and tips from fellow funsters will save me from making too many costly errors as I embark on my search for a mh. Semi-retired, waiting for the good lady to retire in a couple of years, going to be using the mh primarily in the UK. Hope to use it all year as the kids are now up and gone and we have nothing to hold us back. Will post in the beginners section later in the hope to get some good pointers on the way forward. Thank you in advance for your patience if my questions are a bit noddy. If you assume a base level knowledge of zero when replying then you will not be far wrong!!

Haggis, neeps and tatties a must for tonight and on the menu every so often as well. A wee dram though is always available. Just have to make the journey North! Thanks again for both welcomes.

I went to visit a friend in hospital and he was complaining about the meals. "Every single meal, we get haggis, neeps and tatties" he moaned.
I had to remind him that he was afterall in the Burns unit

I hosted a Burns supper last week as President of our Probus club. Being English I managed a humorous slant on Burns, a thoroughly entertaining time was enjoyed by all.
