Newbie questions! (1 Viewer)

Hi all, just bought myself one of the above on a bit of a whim and now need to get down to the practicalities of it! Two questions that maybe someone could answer or point me in the right direction on the forum for the answers.

First of all, does anyone know of a good garage in Edinburgh ( or nearby) that can can do an MOT and some other Dodge related stuff that is maybe beyond my capabilities?

Also, recommendations on a good insurance company. I currently use Adrian Flux for my '68 Vitesse and have also used Footman James so will give them a call as a matter of course but just wondered if there was any other specialist company that I'd be worth calling.

Sure I should be posting these questions elsewhere but thought this may be a good place to ask "newbie" questions.

Welcome to the world of classic motorhoming! Adrian FLux will cover it I shoud think but i had a better (cheaper) quote from Classic and Collectable Club Insurances Ltd on 028 7034 5885 (£311 for a 1983 Fleetwood RV 6.2l Diesel). A good friend of mine just got a quote from them and it was similar too.

just uploaded an album of Vitesse pics. Will do the same for the Dodge once I've done a bit work on it!

Hopefully I've created the album correctly so you can view it!

By the way, for anyone interested, got my insurance from Footman James for £127:50!

Nice one Graham.

Without us the RV heritage would die out.

Me....I've a 1973 Lotus Europa Special Big Valve.

Some Vitesse bits on this too..Like steering Trunnions Wishbones etc.
