Could be ideal for my son's pickup, he's always complaining about too much moisture from his wet kit, mind they might be in short supply in our Carlisle branch :(

Bought one last Spring. Works well and, with the consumption of a 50w bulb, doesn't break the bank.

Jury is out on this. They use a "peltier" system and they work best within a limited temperature and Humidity range. We tried one many years ago in the wardrobes at home, when closed up over winter, It was less successful that the "absorber type, I`m afraid. Not really that expensive to experiment with, but don`t expect big things.

I like the idea of using one but there are so many air vents in our MoHo that I would be trying to dehumidify the whole of notloB. There's vents in the doors, vents under the cooker, vents under the gas heater.

Turn in on highest setting and see what you can do for Cumbria, Yorkshire and Lancashire!:whistle:

On and off for many years.
We have a similar unit and it is very good. Left on low(ish) when the van is standing. We do take all the cushions into the house so it just keeps the inside of the van dry.
