We have a 2015 Auto-Trail Tracker and i am looking to get some spare LED tail lights in preparation
for going down to Spain through France early next year.
I know it says Wipac on them but carn't find them on their website any help or pointers to find some
that are at a better price than the Dealers ( £32 ) would be much appreciated.
Thanks Cliff

If in reply to me then the answer is = not legal without EC markings .
I've loads of motor bike lights, indicators, etc & all packaging marked "display only not for road use" as they've no ec number. I use the bulbs as well & also have loads of chinese stuff that has lasted forever. just pointing out led ones, they aint legal.

The lights I am looking for are complete
sealed units built with LEDS not the converted bulb type that JollyRoger put up
It's hard to believe that you would be expected to carry complete light units as spares (I know Spanish law requires that spare bulbs are carried) especially as each part of the light unit will comprise multiple LEDs. The chances of any noticeable failure is minimal.

It is not a legal requirement to carry spare LED lights.
This is because ( for once ) the powers that be actually took the information given them about both life span and the fact LED units have multiple light sources so are extremely unlikely to fail completely
You should carry spare bulbs for fitting that uses incandescent bulbs such as headlights etc etc

l.

Done away with that a couple of years back due to the fact that many car lighting systems require a garage to be able to repair them.
