Good evening
Is anyone having problems tonight with their pager, ours is not responding to the arm text or status texts. The wife and I have text each other to make sure the phones are OK, and these work, but both phones to the pager don't. Jut wondered in case the Lebara net work is down?

Could be local mast is down.
Try later or check mast status on their website

Surely you can set the growler by other means and not just text commands.

If you mean Non Starter I've just checked mine and it's replied immediately.

Thanks everyone, will wait until the morning to see if it resolves itself over night, could be local coverage, if not, on the phone to Eddie on Monday morning for help.

Has your SIM card run out of credit? We had the same problem earlier this year and that was the cause.

I changed the labara payg sim for a giffgaff payg in my tracker.

Labara = 19p per text
Giffgaff = 6p per text

And if you also have giffgaff in your phone it's free.

Oops..lyca sim, not labara.

So what is this 'non start' Pager.
What does it do.?
Can't find any reference on vanbitz website.

Broken Link Removed

When you park up you send the van a text message to arm it.

Once you've done that your keys won't work in the ignition until you send it another text to disarm it, the idea being that even if someone steals your keys, as happened to me last week, they still can't steal the vehicle.

In addition to that if someone either sets the alarm off or tries to start the engine while the Non Starter is armed it texts you and rings you up to let you know. If you answer the call you can hear what's going on in the van. You also get a Google Maps link so you can see where the van is when it texts you.

It doesn't replace an alarm or a Thatcham tracker but IMHO is a very clever additional level of security.

That's identical to my tracker except I need a module for the non start function.....pointless really as it's fitted to my caravan.
Adjustable vibration, shock and geo-fence functions.
Arm/disarm and change parameters via text.
Notifies via text if parameters are breached.
"listen" function if required.
Google map link and lifetime online GPS Web tracking.
Sellers dedicated help line if in difficulty

My tracker was £35.

Agreed. But not necessarily so when fitted to a vehicle. The whole point of it is the non start function.

I have a Cat 5 tracker on my van as well. The Non Starter is just additional peace of mind.

Thanks everyone, not sure what happened but at 07.34 this morning we suddenly had life, had calls and texts from the pager (playing catch up from last night's texts) so working again now, can only think that the net work was down in my area over night.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to check for me.

We have an automatic top up on the sim, so should never run out.

Lebara (Vodafone) were struggling yesterday in a couple of areas, and in Somerset "Three" was down for four hours yesterday morning.

Not sure if connected but we had four powercuts overnight that screwed up some of our computer network

All good fun lol
