Hi All
I’m hoping to pick my first motorhome up on Weds and I am calling in at the Pickering Show on my way back north to get a few things fitted so if you see someone in a L/H silver tag axle dethleffs esprit looking very lost that will be me lol.

Any advice will be welcome if you spot me.

Regards Paul

I can't wait to pick it up .....but I will be very nervous driving it for the first time

Mysterious voice comes out of a cloud....."BEWARE THE OVERHANG".

It's so easy to sideswipe something with the rear end by turning too sharply too close.

And another voice says "WATCH THE TREES".

Look out for your new found height on trees, signs, fuel stations, car parks and things.

Apart from that, no problems. Though if you invent a new one do tell us :)

Good luck with the new bus.. after a few hours driving you'll wonder why you were worried..

to add to Brian's list

With a left hooker, the blind spot under the passenger side window .. a particular problem when driving solo .. be especially vigilant overtaking or changing lanes .. you might be surprised what can hide down there ..

When approaching junctions and turning left, stay as straight as possible to the main road .. also applies at roundabouts..
'Command' the junction, don't be pushed into a position that leaves you blind to the right ..
As already advised, when filling up, watch the tail swing when pulling away from the fuel pumps.. has caught a few out . :whatthe:

congrats

as a fairly new onwer myself the only advice I can give is take time to get the seat correct. It was my 3rd or fourth trip before I found a really good setup, it makes all the differance.

good luck
