Camping Sherwood Forrest (1 Viewer)

I'm planning to visit Center Parcs, Sherwood Forrest on 29 & 30 Dec (to visit family on day tickets). Anyone know of a good spot to overnight as close as possible to the entrance?

Clumber Park CC Site?. stayed there several times with an R_V. 2 CCC C-S`s show up as Local to Worksop too.

You can park in the car park of the Dog and Duck pub at Clipstone.

There is also a C&CC CS at Bothamsall but a bit further away.

Don't know of anywhere nearer.

Another vote for dog and duck, in addition there is a C&CC CS adjacent to the Dog and Duck.

There is also a campsite near to Clipstone

Ha, I don't think so. I've seen those pictures before, I think they were taken of a few brave souls in winter time. During the summer holidays you couldn't move. Two corned beef sandwiches and a bottle of water (not pop) and that was us set for the day
