Is there an electric bike repair shop in Benidorm? (1 Viewer)

The bike shop in Benicàssim has had my bike for 8 days now and said that It would cost €130 to fix.
It apparently needs some magnets in the handlebar controls?
As they have had it this long and and haven't fixed it and as we have booked into a site in Benidorm next week decided not to let them have a go at fixing it as they could take a longer time than we have to do it.
We need to know of a shop in Benidorm as we'll be there for a month.
Lots of funsters in Benidorm, hopefully with electric bikes that have some knowledge of a repair bike shop there?

One of the Funsters here in Benidorm had a problem with his electric bike. He found a repair shop in Albir which carries out repairs on electric bikes. No doubt he will see this thread and reply to you..

google search throws up a few in Albir..you can contact them and ask if they can help, but its sounds like a problem with cut outs..is it still under warranty get dealer to send out some

It's under warranty but in the uk. Its 15 months old. It would cost £90 to send one way.
Dealer said he would send out control for handlebar but not sure if that's the problem.

On ebay for less than half that you can get every bit of the control system, levers, throttle, motor control, display, everything except the motor. Parts cost nothing.

Twice now, different bikes, I've had a broken wire in the brake switch, blob of solder, done.

Its ok if you know what your doing but I haven't a clue!

The shop assistant said and pointed behind the saddle in the wheel hub about the parts needed.

if its the magnets in handle bars its the brake cut outs. how its taken so long is very odd. as they usually only need adjusting presuming they are in place. they always are a problem on hub motored e bikes

The was a public holiday here in Spain on the weekend. Bike Shop closed from Friday until today.
Supermarket open Monday until 3 pm. So that's their reason they say.
Mechanics didn't start back until today. Mañana. Hey! !!

We had a repair recently done in Albir the shop is more or less opposite Lidl.
The service was good. There is another shop on the old road back to Beni, others have used that one and say it is OK.

Sorry can't I am at the airport and the receipt is back in the van. Have a look on street view of Google earth if you see the Lidl it is across the road.

I think I've found it. Is it opposite mercadona with the word ALBI on the roundabout? There are 4 lidl in the surrounding area's.
