I'm with you on this @PORKSTER .
Trundle along in the van, visiting places, doing lots of nothing; then for a change hop onto a floating flatbed for a week or two without having to move all my kit; maybe you can leave at a different place than you got on, who knows; a placid break to get off the roads, see the world from a different perspective, and see things you couldn't see from land.
Looks a lovely idea :xsmile:

Can see the appeal I suppose but I'd just hire a boat. Seems a bit of a cobble wouldn't be putting my van on it.
