You'd be doing bloody well to get over there for the racing, ok on a bike or foot passenger but no chance with a camper as booked up eons in advance

locals advised me years ago to take the van over month early and collect a month after the racing, cheaper fares and availability

Yes we did have a shower, but on the positive side, my penthouse apartment has it's own moorings!
