Rather than spend a fortune on a dedicated one for motorhomer, I measured up and got a Tesco branded solo microwave which fitted and was relatively low power. Have a look online at the Tesco and sainsburys websites and see it there are any there? Mine cost £35 and works very well

Think you might be struggling there Kate - we have been looking for one for a while and cannot get smaller that about 42cm . I am told that the workings are a fairly fixed minimum size sothe reduction would be in the cooking side, it was suggested to us they would be struggling to get a 7 or 8 inch plate in the cooking side if they reduced it.

Just bought one for home from Wilco for £35 but its still 42cm wide. I think you need to find a different location.
That seems to be the minimum.

Just found this in the book w35.7but went on line and it's not the same width :( phoned and they have said it's a print error in catalogue :( shame it would had been ideal. I am now wondering if the one with the grill is a miss print as well they have said not but will check in the morning at the store

Kate, if you have a look at the picture if the oven was 44cm high it would be taller than wider. The picture doesn't look that way to me. Sorry.

Hi Kate think you will find they have the dimensions the wrong way round - width is 44cm not the height.

This is one of the smallest ones I've ever seen - I had one ages ago and sold it but you can still occasionally find them on Ebay or at car boot sales (there was one last week!).

You do have to bear in mind that the smaller the oven the less you can get in them.

There's a iWaveCube but I don't think you can get it in the UK and it's ruddy expensive!

Mine was a cheapy from ebay but quite a while back so cannot find it now. If running on inverter its best to get one without a digital display as otherwise the clock etc uses more battery power than the cooking.

Hi, We have a small microwave from a specialist maker Pennine Leisure Services and have had good service from it, its about 700 watts and has a wind up timer rather than a digital clock its been quite happy in an overhead cupboard for about 8 years .:)

The whirlpool max with the controls at the bottom rather than at the side, but it might cost you lol
They seem to be coming under 40 cms wide

We measured the width of the cupboard and it was 40 cms wide. Bill wanted a gap around it, but I assume it won't be used excessively. Perhaps @Ambilkate could buy one to try, and return if not happy.
A lot of places accept returns no questions asked.
