Hi top
Exp
I'm a newbie
Ok so when we have been driving there is a draft coming up from behind the cab seats where the habitation meets the cab, there is a gap in the carpet and we stuffed towels into it to stop draft, when we were parked I could feel this draft then but thought it was because it was where the outside locker was, is this normal ( I really do hope not )
We are taking the van back next week to get things done so is there anything that can be done about this ?

Just a thought as you drive
Does the cold air sort of
Envelope you making you cold

It could be the large area
Behind you filled with cold air
As you accelerate and decelerate
It envelopes you making the
Inside feel cold

Consider that your van originally was designed to have a wall between
The drivers seat and load space your seating area
Cured my home build
With a curtain to the floor behind the seats

And on my swift I turned the propex heater on before a journey
In colder times to give the cab heater a hand
Turned the propex heater off when traveling

Living the dream.
Yes, if you open the cab doors you will see vents cut into them. Our Pug has holes in the door liner at the bottom and there's a hell of a draught comes in sometimes. We have silver screens and thermal full length curtains between cab and hab but the holes will be blocked off for this winters outings. (y)

Got this from another thread and sounds exactly what the problem is.
Draught

one of the culprits is the pressed steel box section at the rear of the seat bases, it couples up with the box chassis members underneath which are fitted with rubber one way flaps for airflow. You can buy a Fiat plastic blanking stopper, the part number is Broken Link Removed. The price each is £3.80. Obviously you will have to get on your back and get underneath to do it or if you have ramps it will be much easier. You should buy two because the opposite side might be missing. They just clip in place.
