This option on eBay but it's Bosch so presumably good quality.

I've been talking to motorcaravanning.co.uk who I'd rather use as they're really helpful but their comparable veeteck kits are over £300. Both are basic regulators. What am I missing?

It appears to be a very good price. Worth noting that the supplied brackets look flimsy and are unsuitable for adhesive mounting and the controller is not the best. On the upside it's a good price for the panel on its own.

The 10a won't be much cop.with that panel. IMO.
I have a single 200w with a 20a Duo regulator + Remote feeding 3 x 110amph aux in t
2 banks .
worked very well on this year's trip to EU and even with the mucky wx we are now getting keeps all batts tip top

Is a 10A regulator adequate for a 150W panel?

Good point. They say max current from the panel is 8.4A @ 17V.

But you are right 150W @ 12V would be over 10A. A good regulator could take in that 8.4A and feed 11A into the battery.

So it all hinges on is that 10A In or Out of the regulator.

Apart from that, those brackets look less than fit for purpose, otherwise OK.

@yorkist The same supplier is selling just the panel for about £140. I would buy the panel from them and source the other components separately.

I think I'd rather buy the kit from one source as I'm dependant on advice until u get it all back to Spain to be fitted. Can't see a supplier in Spain though they must exist. If I bought the panel I wouldn't know which controller to get, or cable etc.... Just can't get electrics into my head. As a motorhomer you want to understand every aspect of your van and then you read sites like this and think you must be the dimmest one out there though I know there are plenty at my level!
