Everything is only as strong as its weakest point. Are you suggesting a super duper all singing dancing tracker can be blocked for £25.....:(

Please report the item to eBay on the basis that it facilitates illegal activity - I have but I suspect they'll react better if multiple people report it.

yes I am afraid so Buttons
It is not exactly high tech.. Hell, from a mile away I can stop you setting your alarm ..
It is only a device that puts out a really rough very low powered transmission
It cannot stop a tracker sending out a signal but stops dead any signal trying to get to the tracker to activate it by swamping the receiver as well as that in any gps unit

I reported it as soon as I found it

Strictly speaking they are not illegal though
The fact the only people who would want to block a tracker working is either up to no good or maybe a youngster going somewhere their parents do not want them to go matter not

There are others there, a bit more expensive..

I admit I can't think of any legal reason to have one, but it's probably perfectly legal to sell them. It doesn't need much to block GPS signals as they are very weak (come a long way ) so trackers which depend on GPS don't produce too much of a problem to a thief if they know what they're doing. I have one but I don't expect too much.

I reported it as well.
My tracker is hidden in open site just not recognisable as what it is.

The best answer is probably to have a sign saying you have a tracker, when in fact you haven't. It will take them ages to find it.

I see its now ended.

Good riddance to them.
As I now see it trackers are useless if they can be blocked as easy as this. Not being on ebay doesn't really mean anything. Looks to me as if trackers that a lot of owners relied on are now obsolete.

Depends on the tracker Guys. Go to Automatrics. They have trackers which cannot be blocked and can even be found in containers and underground. Mine has a 2 year battery and I chose magnetic fixings so I can put it where I like.

There are trackers that use different technologies to try let their control know where they are. The simplest being GPS gsm and rf. You do tend to get what you pay for though.
Once again. Physical security of keys and the vehicle is the best solution. (And very low tech)

These devices are simply mobile phone blockers. A (probably still not) legal use is where event organisers operate a 'no mobiles' policy (a theatre for instance) and used a blocker to enforce it.

Was a newbie, now a Middie.
There's loads on ebay, so there must be a demand.
Yes, and I have just 'clicked' who wants them! Many driving firms these days track their vans, and know where their employees are all the time. Stop for a brew, and their on the phone asking why you haven't moved for a bit.........Enter the jammer. A chap who lives nearby works for the AA. He told me tonight that he uses one when he stops for his lunch.
