I picked up some Halvarssons Beryl Gloves to day for £40 when they are usually £80
Apparently the Police use these gloves.
I needed some as the ones I bought last year don't keep my pinkies warm in winter & well they are not really waterproof despite the packaging & salesman saying so.

According to the shop the Halvarssons Beryl no longer fill the Cat 1 due to a change in the circumstances so he put them on sale (y)

Returned 2015 after many years of kids and other expenses!
If they work for you (and I have been there), don't see a problem. You pays you money and makes your choice!

Good buy at £40.00. (y)
Got a Halvarson snowboard jacket its fantastic.

Just replaced both summer and winter gloves summers were 8 years old winters were 6 years old.

Strangely both replacements ended up being Richa very good gloves got 20% off but still a lot more expensive than £40.00.

You paid £40 quid for a pair of gloves?

You need your head read!
OK!

So let me understand this.

You would rather lose all the skin, not to mention the tendons, on your hand your rather than pay £40 for a pair of gloves?

How much do you spend on a meal for two when you go out got for an evening?

£40 is a cheap pair of gloves. I think my winters were in the region of £120.00 and my summers around £100.00. I tend to use the same advice as when buying a new helmet. If you have a £50 head then buy a £50 helmet.

After a week they are some awesome gloves & well worth the money.
I have an inherent problem which means my little fingers don't fill the glove however I am breaking them with n before I set a test date.

My last gloves were cheap £30 jobbies so a big difference.

Was a newbie, now a Middie.
Apparently the Police use these gloves.
Yes. Very handy if you have to leap out of your MH and quell a riot at the CC Office.(y)

I don't ride a bike, I gave up climbing Mountains when I left the Forces, when in snow I drove a Volvo Snow Cat,I don't wear gloves when I eat, and at the age of 75&2/3rds I'm no longer interested in participating in any sport, and;), I have two perfectly good pockets in my winter coat(y) which I bought from the Hudson Bay Company long ago, which will, so I was told keep me snug as a bug in a rug down to -30c. The Coat cost me C$25 in their summer sale.

and the OP did not mention M/BIKES, else I wouldn't have said anything untoward:cool:
