Thetford toilet in 585 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Can anyone with an ixeo585 tell me what sort of filler they have on their thetford toilet for flush water.

The one fitted to my toilet doesn't extend outside the cassette cupboard when it is swung out. It appears to be the correct part according to Thetford's part list?

Sorry can't help as on our 585 (11/12 vers), the flush is connected to the main supply.

Have you actually tried flushing with water in your main tank?

Hi,
This is a picture of the unit (not my van but same toilet) Broken Link Removed


When I bought the van top funnel was missing this is the part that now fitted doesn't extend outside of the opening.

As someone has suggested maybe the flush water comes directly from the main water tank, this is something that I will try when I am next using the motorhome in about 3 weeks. This would also explain why the funnel wasn't there as it would be un-necessary.

The motorhome itself is a 2011 reg LHD German import. It would help if someone could confirm that this is the model of toilet that is fitted in their Ixeo 585.

would agree with Stealaway that all Burstner toilet flushes were piped to the water supply
