Hi,

I know someone (not a member) who is selling:

Towtal a-frame (unbraked) approx 2 years old c/w bar for across front of toad and a carry bag
Brake Buddy classic c/w with carry bag and alert system (no breakaway kit)

Both are in excellent condition and I am told that they have been used for approx. 800 miles only.

If you are interested let me know, he's looking for offers over £650 (best offer gets it, he doesn't do ebay)

Before anyone asks, no, he won't split it.

brake buddy

I am very interested in the brake buddy but need to acquire one quickly. Can I contact the seller? What is his minimum price for a quick sale? Where is the seller, I would prefer to pay and collect thye device personally but distance may be a problem?
I am in Cheshire.
Thank you for any assistance you can give.

unbraked aframes are not totally ilegal .you can use them if you have a different type of braking system.
truck drawbars dont have brakes fitted to them .they use air to work the brakes. you could use electricity or todays latest is to use a type of nintendo ds to work the brakes it sensors the stopping and put brakes on . am a bit vague as to how but it works.
there is a delay time for electric brakes that must not be exceeded but who cares.
i must say my experience says unbraked works fine if you drive sensibly.
i dont make the rules though.
isnt the brake buddy tilt sesitive ,that makes the brakes work. ?
