Skype; using keys to answer? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Anybody know how to make the key selections on Skype? IE you are asked to press various keys when you get connected to a computer before you get a human!

one symbol has a phone for voice comunication the other is like a page of text which connects to a text based chat, just like our own chatroom

not 100% sure doug but i think this may answer your question.
from the skype help page. its actually to dial extension numbers but should work to input numbers.

"During a Skype call to landline or mobile number you should see the small Dialpad button next to the call timer. Click the button to open the dialpad if it is not opened automatically and use it to dial extensions.

Note: The big dialpad on 'Call Phones' will not produce dial tones as it is not linked to the active call."

occasionally doing nothing when asked to enter a number or pressing '0' will get you connected to a real person:thumb:
the computer gets confused and gives up so redirects you.:thumb:
