I wonder if members could get together and produce a 'Motorhome' phrase book.

I always struggle when we want to know where to empty the toilet etc..

We have members who can help, French Yodeli, Dutch and German, Onderweg, Spanish, Momo, many others for Italian Portugese, greek, turkish etc so for a starting point what questions and answers do you all require. I would be happy to compile and edit it. ( I would need help to find fonts containing the appropriate accents etc. So lets get the thing rolling with your requirements I will then lay out a form and get them translated and compile a book so add your specific needs below. And if country specific please make a note of the countries it would apply to.

left, right, straight ahead, behind, over, under, around, carry on for (X)km
yes, no, thank you.
can you help me please

Black Country to English
Liverpudlian to Welsh
Glaswegian to Cockney
Caravan Club Wardeneze to Camping and Caravan Club Wardeneze
Cornish Walking Pub Miles to English Walking Pub Miles:ROFLMAO:

You can count us in as well, of course Dutch, we will leave the French to Yodeli ::bigsmile:

Belgian, Ineke also speaks (more or less) German, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish so if we combine strenghts the outcome can be even better :thumb:

Only one remark, i guess it will be hard to implement the pronunciation, any thoughs ?

Whilst lots people offering help are coming forward, it seems no one actually wants to add to the list of words phrases wanted so maybe you all speak several languages anyway, am I wasting my time.

Ok then let's start with the chocolate one:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Ma femme est en manque de chocolat: y-a-t-il un chocolatier dans le coin?:winky:

And about the "où est dump le pooh pooh" sounding half english half french:RollEyes: i would make it simple: Pour vider les toilettes S'il Vous Plait? same for grey water: "pour vider les eaux usées S.V.P.?

BTW : Do you want it translated straight away or do you want the list to be completed first?
