How do I work out the maximum current range of my motorhome?

Do you mean electrical current ?

I think Jim may have the wrong end of the stick. :D

If so, add together the wattage of all the 12v appliances in the van then divide by 12.

From what? Battery charging, EHU current?

I've seen over twenty amps from the former with the engine running when the leisure batteries were well down. EHU can be 16 amp supply in places so your wires need to be able to take that at least.

See if anything is written on the back of the TV and any satellite box or whatever you might have and add them together. My LED TV take 2.5 amps if that helps - about 30W.

What would the wattage be of the drop down TVs system in a 2009 Autotrail ?
It will be printed on the label on the back.

Dont forget the things that get forgotten.....

Water pump, heating fan, water heater control circuit board (minimal current), electric toilet flush pump (if fitted), fridge control circuit board (minimal current), 12v control panel if its digital, roof vent fan (if fitted), tv aerial amplifier.....it all adds up.
