Bit of a shock to say the least ! Was in the area and noticed the closing down sign.
Went in and picked up a few bits and bobs but nowt left of any real value..

Lord knows where I will go to get stuff now !

I find it strange to say the least that their website is still up and running and they are offering to sell peoples motorhomes and caravans for them....... I thought the first thing the liquidator would do was to shut the website. I had heard that they were closing down a couple of weeks ago but checked the still operating website and concluded that they were still OK

It seems like a Voluntary liquidation and not forced so the directors might have other plans.

I hope it doesn't involve closing down a company with massive debts and expense to the taxpayer and starting up a similar company with a clean slate.

Unfortunately that does happen in some cases

They closed several weeks ago and when we last went past there was no caravan or motorhome stock on the display area.
I presume they re-opened the shop to sell off some remaining bits and pieces.
Sad to see them go after such a long time.

Richard.

The shop is not really open as such.. the little new shop stock there is left has been cordoned off as it has been sold complete to someone.
The stuff they are selling is mostly out of the workshop or offices.

I did pick up a chance in a million purchase.. a new Sargent control panel for mine.. Usually there are k=loads of panels etc and the only one not there will be the one I want.. This time there was only the one and it is a pucka Autotrail unit too !! Paid £30.00 for it ( bought as a spare really, but it has the newer firmware already loaded so I have swapped it out already ! )

Also bought a gas system drop tester for £20.
It is a really old one with a big brass gauge and fittings
