Now on a cl site just above New Quay in Wales, £16 with electric and I have managed to find a wifi signal.
Have put this little site on our list to visit next summer when the sun is shining:rolleyes:, off to do some sea fishing tomorrow and then explore New Quay in the afternoon. You never know I may find a pub.:)

Nice part of the world, lovely beach at Llangrannog, try the gorgeous ice creams at the Patio Cafe; pretty harbour, colourful houses at Aberaeron. Area seems to have its own microclimate.

Lovely area, we used to go on holiday to Newquay 30+ years ago then when my Dad retired in 1985, my parents moved to a little village called Mydroylin a few miles away. Love Aberaeron too.

It's quite pricey for a CL isn't it?

Are the Dolphins still around the harbour area? You may get to see them and some seals if lucky.
@RowleyBirkinQC ,
Dolphins in the harbour area this morning and I thought I saw a seal off the beach but was a bit to far away to be certain.
We sat on a bench overlooking the harbour and had a Cornish pasty with carrots to refuel for the walk back up the hill.
Weather nice yesterday but rained all night and woke up to sea fog and drizzle this morning, overcast now with the odd brighter interlude.
Now sat in the motorhome with a Benidorm coffee, just for medicinal purposes of course.
Hope to go fishing again tomorrow but couldn't catch cold.

If your going fishing try behind the fish factory at the bottom of the village turn right past the car park rather than go up the hill.

Maybe you should share the details of the site you are at so I can come back again, not been to New Quay in Wales for some years, last time was in a tent staying on a farm with limited facilities...

@ Shandyman Had a look at that but could not see how to get down to the shore from there. I cycled up to the fish factory gates.

Been a lovely day here, sunshine all day although a bit windy this morning but that has died down a bit as the day has gone on.
Fishing again this morning but no luck although it was compensated by a seal joining me, hope he had more luck than me.
Now enjoying a pint of Speckled Hen in the evening sunshine.:)
