As I can only drink white or rose it is getting it cold quickly enough my problem. Tried red, gives me a headache. Now try to buy in excess and store in 12v camping gaz cool box. Most satisfactory.:wine:Clive

Fridge is no good. Red wine drinkers:LOL: What we need is some sort of crate. But wine bottles are too tall for our cupboards and drawers.

Wine boxes from supermarkets stacked on sides? Under side benches.
Ours fit upright. Or, get bubble wrap and a large plastic (Tupperware type) storage box lay bottles on sides layered with bubble wrap.:wine:

Decant into plastic bottles, much lighter to carry.

Be careful stacking wine in cartons (bricks) on their side. We had one split, made a mess and some of the wine was lost!

If buying 3 or 5 litre boxes you can decant some into a plastic bottle and chill that in the ''fridge but ideally have a coolbox or 'fridge big enough to take the whole box. I'm drinking some chilled red bought in France a few weeks ago at this very moment!

Bottles tend to rattle but you can use carriers such as the ones Tesco give away or those like carrier bags but with pockets for each bottle.
