Sticky back plastic.

If you don't want the carbon effect you can wrap with clear just for protection.

I have used both the plain white vinyl wrap on the outside of my van and I have done a couple of panels inside the van with the carbon fibre look.

It is not hard to do if you are patient, prepare well and perhaps have a practice first. The only problem I have found with the carbon fibre look is that you can't stretch it round unusual shapes easily without creating distortions in the pattern.

My advice would be to get 2 meters of the cheaper plain white vinyl first and have a go. Don't do it at this time of year as it is not warm enough outside (unless you have a heated garage?). Wait until it is at least 15C preferably higher. Also having a spare pair of hands will make the job much easier. If you crack the white vinyl you will have a better idea if you want to do the carbon fibre.

Living the dream.
There are quite a lot of places doing it now. I had a works van fully wrapped. At about two years in it started to shrinking slightly in places and fade. The second one was just the back doors which was a lot better.
Have a look at Sky TV vans, they are all wrapped as are Eddie Stobart trucks and many more as it's cheaper than painting and just peels off at the end of contract.
