the scenery through was fantastic, the weather couldn't have been better, the midgies stayed away , what more could you ask for..

Hi dave... yep never away from Scotland. Can't be beat for motor homing. Been so lucky on most of my trips this year... good weather and the midges not been too bad...
Off to Norway in a couple weeks with Mavis. Will fly and spend most of it with Brenda (my sister).. In southern Norway.
Hope you are finding some time from work to get out and about..

Our Scottish trip was very similar to yours and we loved every minute of it. 4 weeks in some of the most spectacular scenery we've ever seen and a warm welcome wherever we went. Wild camping everywhere when we wanted it and the midges were not too bad.
