I take it you mean the electrical device for making clothing smooth and you're not using cockney rhyming slang?

many many years! since I was a kid
That's the one !!!! Least I think it is I've never used one.......

Ere.... Do you think I could get away with buying the Boss one for Christmas ?
iRon iPad......not much difference, both a waste of space

my sister was packing for her holiday when i was there the other week. anyway she folded up this posh little travel iron to put in the case. Obviously i took the pee out of her taking an iron on holiday. her answer was, she needed it bit they were pretty useless, this being the 4th or 5th one she has bought and tried. none get hot enough or were big enough

my advice is buy her a half decent steam iron for in the van. doesnt need to be a super steam generator one as they are huge, just a normal decent brand one

if my mrs heard me suggest putting an iron in the van, she would hit me with one

crumbs.. it may be me but life too short to iron stuff- especially when away in beloved M home. However I did feel need to remove creases from garment last year in France [the french are so chic] so I heated up a pan on the gas and used it over a clean t towel to make self less un respectable.. [we use aires /wild camp a lot so no EHU so no ironing possible with conventional iron]

You could easy get away with buying one, but wouldn't risk trying to pass it off as a present unless you want your face pressing;)
