We are interested in going to Morocco in January / February.Anyone interested in joining us. Last year we met some funsters and joined Motorhome fun because of them. Can't remember there names but would love to get in touch with them if they read this.

Hi Terry, trust you and Brian are well? Pauline and I are curious as to where are all you guys going to stay now that the district of Taghazoute is under the police and army management control

We went on a tour with Desert Detours and went to Fez, Marrakech, Casablanca and into the Sahara on organised tours and ended up at Essauira (don't know if I have spelt that right). we then went on ourselves to Moulin (?) beside a lagoon and stayed a week there. Met some more funsters there who were on there way home.

Essouiara and the lagoon was at Moulay Bousselham. Most of us stopped at Moulay on the way back up if thats any help

Hi Larry/Pauline. Tagazhoute was just one of many places we visited and have yet to visit so, although we might route that way to see what's what, it's not going to faze us. We fancy going down to the south east of Morocco to the desert proper where any number of Funsters went last time.

We ran into a Desert Detours group at Marrakech but regretfully don't remember you there - we were just 2 vans at the time.

Moulay Bousselham was where we met the funsters and we travelled up to Tangier Med with them. Thanks to them we had a great time at the Lincoln show last weekend.

We haven't been to Taghazoute but anyone going to Morocco around the middle of January we would like to join them. On the tour last year it was with Desert Detours from 2nd February - 22nd February. There wer 8 vans altogether on it/

Hi we were thinking of going to Sicily in January first. But hear a lot about Morocco on this page. I'm thinking of leaving between the 10th and 16th of January. Have an open ticket on fairy. Need to find out information about dogs and Morocco. Campsites, ferry to Morocco and check insurance ECT. Any help appreciated Dave.
