Who's going and where are you staying? What is the situation regarding staying in Morrisons?

We went last year,there were vans parked on morrisons but don't know if they overnight -ed.We stopped in brean and drove there in the toad.Fantastic night

Hi Colyboy,
we went several years ago stopped at Sainsburys car park they had agreed with some local charity to let them charge a £5 overnight parking fee.
it was OK so/so bit noisy due to a few drunk people milling about until the early hours .
Carnival was fantastic
I would love to go again

Agreed - Bridgwater is not like it used to be years ago - even the police station has moved out of town!

Have seen this is a popular option for Funsters in previous years Broken Link Removed & still some limited availability. It's staying on a good site in Glastonbury & they run a coach to the carnival in Bridgwater which takes you back after the squibbing.

Don't put everyone off! I've heard that the Old Oaks is a quiet site & although the centre of Bridgwater will be rowdy (the drinking starts early) it's fine on the outskirts.

I'm only joking, the drinking certainly starts early, for that reason I wouldn't wild camp in a supermarket car park, it is a well renowned carnival though
