Can anyone suggest a nice little day out for myself and doggie for tomorrow just to give the batteries a charge.

Southport, a stroll along the beach to blow the cobwebs away, then up to beautiful Churchtown for a nice bar lunch. One of my favourite area's.

thanks for the suggestions, I think southport will be too busy! Burrs country park sounds nice is it easy parking for the MH? I am a woman driver and not too good at reversing or small gaps!!!!!!!!

Yes it is very nice, plenty of space for parking, large parking areas (y)

Also got Sat nav issues at the moment so don't want to risk any narrow roads and low bridges!

Had a look around Burrs caravan site. It was really nice. I have been trying to decide which club to join and was leaning towards the c&cc but not duro now as this one is a cc site! !

Glad you found Burrs ok (y), Hope you enjoyed it, good luck with Motorhoming and which ever club you decide to join, you could try both the cc & c&cc for 12 months, just to get a feel for them, just a thought :LOL: (y)

Delamere Forest, good CCC site not to far good roads and the dog would love it.
