When I just had a car the birds left it alone but since putting a motorhome on the drive the swallows and housemartins have started sorties over the motor home to see which one can hit my the van the most. Each day I am wiping dozen or more hits off the paintwork. Anything around to put on the paintwork to stop the muck drying up and sticking to the paintwork.

the motorhome in daily use so tarpaulin or plastic covering not practical.

Birds shit on it because they are jealous ::bigsmile:

the local sparrow hawks help keep the pidgeons down but the V-Tails are too fast/agile for them.

We have a lot of seagulls round here too but they stick to the river and rarly venture from it. other wise it would be a mess.

A 177 won't worry pigeons too much American Dream.

The only thing I've found to put them off is bursting a balloon shortly after dusk.
They don't return for a few days after that.

Perhaps a shot from a 177 after dusk might work, I've not tried it.
