Excited newbies just picked up first motorhome last week, it's a Bailey Autograph 740, spent 2 nights on local site, everything worked well, so now looking forward to our first proper trip out next week . Off to Taunton (Vanbitz) to get the alarm and solar panels fitted then spending a few days touring. Love reading the forum loads of great info and advice, will no doubt have plenty of questions for you funsters, cheers.

Welcome on board from the Duckpond......:welc:

Good choice to use Vanbitz. Not necessarily the cheapest but easily the best. (y)

Wishing you many happy miles in your new van.

Thanks, yes Tweed is great dog he has already claimed his place in the MoHo likes to lie between the 2 cab seats so he can monitor everything. Just trying to remember everything to take away next week. Important things already sorted....Wine & Beer!! Planning to do a few months touring in France next year, hence we thought the solar panels we be a good choice as will be using a lot of Aires. We are storing the van near Market Harborough, was on the road yesterday returning it to storage, getting used to driving it.
Cheers

I guess that's the storage near Sibbertoft then. My friends keep their van there, no problems and they seem pleased with it.

Solar pannels are a very good idea to keep you as independent as possible. Also good for your batteries while in storage. You will get loads of help on here so never think any question is silly or trivial. There are also a few of us Funsters around the area so help is never far away.

Hello from another Northants motorhomer, not far from Wellingborough. Had our first MoHo about 18 months ago and loving everything about it. Hope you enjoy yours as much.
