Great job done still cheaper than replacing with new tray that is going to break again and the bonus of a lifetime guarantee

I had a go water skiing behind one once. It was very fast, but not all that big. I suppose your talking about a much larger boat if it has a shower.:)

Trays fail due to not being supported properly, I really can't see how spraying on gunge to a failed tray is a good repair.

the coating they use was designed to be impact resistant and elastic to be used as bed liner. stress cracks generally only move a few millimetre so easily absorbed by the elastic properties of the coating
only downside is they charge silly money knowing its cheaper than a new tray plus fitting. you can buy the same product in spray cans for about £10

makes sense.. it was as you say popular with pick up trucks when I ran them...

chap that repaired my sink last week does shower trays as well but he is in Portsmouth and only goes as far as south London..

fits speedcoat agent wanted £350 + the dreaded. this chap did it for £150 at my home

if you can remove the tray I would have a go myself. using plastic weld or a soldering iron for the crack then a few costs of spray for finish. maybe support underneath with expanding foam or something when refitting?

I put a smear of bathroom sealant over mine as a temporary fix three years ago...

When that fails I shall put a bit of glass fibre mat over it for a more permanent job...

Under what name?
various it's produced by several companies. I have a couple of cans in the garage so will check tomorrow. but a search for bed liner, pool paint or pond paint will give various options

I don't think any of those are a comparable product

SPEEDLINER EURO HS® is incomparable to any readily available DIY products.

Had mine repaired by a Speedcoat agent/franchisee two years ago on my front drive (they need access to electricity). Plastic welded first then Speedcoat application looks great . I am not much of a DIY expert and prefer to pay someone who is for piece of mind

Thank you for your email. Due to Health and Safety Executive guidelines our products are only available to trained professional users.

Unfortunately DIY products that may be available do not have the strength and integrity of our specialist, anti bacterial polymer spray liner."
