I think on the alko, you're restricted to the Dunlop system, only available for the alko chassis with compressor and gauges, you could call armitages they are very helpful, some alko chassis are incompatible so you can't have it, when I was there a guy came with a Carthago and was turned away

Since May 05 (Ex Tuggers).
German companies, (including Goldschmitt), do air suspension kits for older Alko chassis's, which UK suppliers don't seem to cater for.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Don't know where you are but AS suspension of Warrington are generally recommended for fitting air suspension to Alko chassis. We have used them twice and they do a good job.

I brought a Dunlop kit from.

To fit to my Adria vision with alko chassis, the job to fit took a full day and was more difficult than I expected, but I am very happy with the results and consider it money well spent

I was looking earlier this year for 2013 van. This info from June 2015
Dunlop Kit, currently not available due to "problem" .Usually available from Marcle Leisure. It clamps onto the van, no dismantling of hub required.
All below insist on fitting air pump/guages, no supply only. Hub will need to be removed.
AS in Cheshire, 01925 740666, £1700
Gliderite, Hampshire, 01428 751711, £1245
Travel World, Telford, 0844 8804938, dearest of the lot, they change the torsion bars as well as fitting air bags, also insist on new wheels if going over 2500kg
VB Air, A&E Leisure, Northwich, 01606 973005, not willing to discuss as their expert was on hols.
Court Side Conversions, Tiverton, 01844 256048, diy allowed at £1250 +vat, would also fit.

On my 2013 van it turns out the torsion bars are same as new axle supplied by alko that is rated to 2500kg, so I have uprated rear axle from 2400 -2500kg with no physical change to vehicle.

The Dunlop kit I brought from Marcle leisure in August 2013 cost me £794.55 including delivery, as said previously it took a full day to fit and you definitely need to remove hubs and calipers on my Renault master running gear to fit the air bag brackets, and also needed to modify the hand brake cable to calipers to give clearance,
As I had just retired from the motor trade it didn't present much of a problem to me , but if you are not sure how to go about removing brakes and hub assembles then I suggest leaving it to a professional ,
