Camping Blanes (1 Viewer)

Just been away for a couple of weeks at camping Blanes on the costa brava nr Barcelona.

Campsite is in a great position with walking straight out of the gate which goes straight to the beach and promenade, you do need a trolley for emptying waste and collecting water but a small price to pay. Easy walking/cycling to the town.

We did have a few drops of rain over a couple of days (pictures attached) generally the weather was about 30 dg.

I went for a family holiday in Blanes in 1955.

We rented a small house in the middle of town.

I ate my first Churro on that holiday.

We were the only English people there!

It didn't rain though...

It always amazes me how fast places flood but then how fast the water dries up too. Wouldn't like to be in a tent on that site though or have my awning carpet down under my canopy

There ya go Daz n Tina, the sixty year old rain Gods are getting their own back for us sending the 1st ever half Yankee white man to pollute there shores.

There was a good after flood comaraderie, we helped the Dutch the Dutch helped the Swiss, the Swiss helped the Scottish and the Germans helped themselves and the French just surrendered and went home

We like Blanes,,,was there in April on Camping La Massia,,Camping Cheque site..BUSBY
