Hi Christopher

I thought my van had low mileage when I bought it. 17 years old with 30,000 miles on the clock. Mine came with all the MOT's as proof that the mileage was genuine.

How many digits on the mileometer display 5 or 6? If it's only 5 it could be 101,300mls?

Have you asked the current owners about the mileage?

My Talbot Autosleeper has also got a Express 1300 engine/chassis on it. It flew through it's 18th year MOT last October.

I've managed to buy spare bits and pieces for it on Ebay. The engine on mine is also the same as fitted in Peugot J5 and Citreon C25 vans.

Are you now the owner of the van as you mentioned the log book??

It sounds like you could have some fun months ahead of you restoring and getting everything working again.

I find the Talisman a very uncomfortable van to sleep in,i wonder if anybody else has this problem, and if they have tried the foam base roll's.I dont rate the 1300p at all,but there's still a heck of a lot on the road in M/Home form.
