Hi all

Looking inside some motor homes this weekend.
Some do not have tv brackets.

The dealer said you just have to add a bracket to the item that I have taken a photo of.

Is this the case? If so how do you do it?

More than toes wet now!
There would originally have been a second part to the bracket, a "V" shaped piece that slotted from the top into the channels created by the turned over sides. Probably still on the back of the TV that was removed.
The chances of getting just the missing part may be slim so you could be better budgeting for a whole bracket assembly.

We have the same bracket, this the other part that fits to the TV. But I can't remember where I bought it from maybe Tesco's and I don't know if you could buy one part, sorry. At least you know what it looks like now.

Thanks Manic for the photo and comment. With that type of bracket can you move the tv around at all?

This is the one I used when fitting an additional TV Broken Link Removed
Tilts, swivels and rotates.

Very pleased with it and delivered within a couple of days.

This is the spec and fitting instructions for it, if any use.

not long enough
you could ask the dealer for the previous keepers details, or get them off the V5 if you have that back already, for a quick phone call they might still have it on their TV, or better have had to take it off as it is no use and put it in his man drawer just in case ever needed :)

you can also ask him whether they had any issues with MH before trading in (y)

Thats a lot of money, when we brought our motorhome we negotiated ours to be swapped over with no charge, if they want your business then i am sure this will not cost them anywhere near that amount. For them this would take them 10 minutes as fittings are already there., for someone like me it would take a few days as i have no clue and dont want me to drilling any holes in a new motorhome.
