5 years, feel free to ask me about the Carado!!
Anybody got a reccomendation for a double DIN radio /DVD/GPS for a Ducato. Been looking at the chinese ones on ebay or may spend the extra on a known brand. I definately need at least one reversing camera input and preferably two Camera inputs.

Any advice welcomed

We have a pioneer avic which was standard fit in our Hymer, if I| were to change it, I would up date to the latest avic 960 bt-c which is designed for motorhomes. An excellent all round package.

I'm going through the same scenario at the moment. I can't find any of the Chinese units that had DAB radio so I will properly go with the Pioneer avic 960 bt-c with the Alpine TV module.

I have a brand new all singing, all dancing Double Din Pioneer radio. I bought it to replace the radio in our RV. I paid £330 for it in Halfords two months ago This is it

Trouble is, when I took the radio out of the RV I found it was a 1.8Din so the Pioneer would not fit.:mad::mad: Been meaning to put it on eBay. Its new, in its box. Anyone can make me a sensible offer for it ;)

I bought and fitted one of these last year, cant think of anything you could add to it, but not cheap ! (German) It was the only company i could find that did the curved fascia plate for the ducato dash.

Yes very very similar, only difference is the price and it doesn't state if it will fit into a Fiat Ducato dash (well it will but do you get the curved fascia plate with it ? ) without the fascia it will look somehow not fitted correctly

This is what i was having trouble finding, at the time icartech in Germany were the only company i could find who supplied this type of fascia. (Curved high gloss front panel - the same as the original)

thats the way it goes though.....plenty of bargains about shortly after you just had to pay top retail

looking at the german unit, I reckon that they buy wholesale from Hong Kong and at least double their money in profit

I have a Clarion NX502e + DAB adaptor, been very pleased with it a couple of people have brought on my recommendation they are also very pleased with the unit. The Satnav uses IGO primo far better than the Garmin supplied with Kenwood's.

This unit looks excellent, very flexible, if you go for it you must let us know if any good. We have had Pioneer and now have Blaupunkt, prefer Blaupunkt New York Trucker, screen is more responsive, slots are easily accessible and support from Blaupunkt very good.
yes Just trying to figure out if I can Use the Chinese unit as a permanent rear View mirror with music

Do you think it possible to run a music application whilst the camera is on av or camera feed (as a rear view mirror) on the chinese ones. I cant seem to find an answer?

I see do you have 2 cameras fitted?
I am assuming you cant use an AV in on these units for a Camera then?
Yes a twin camera, I first wired it up with one camera on the camera input and one on an aux input then realised what a dumbo I had been.
If you wire a camera to and aux input because the inputs are both Video & Audio it switches the sound to the aux input so your radio or mp3 or CD sound turns off, hence fitting the switch so both cameras feed into the camera input.
