Ok Funsters
After discussions at Peterborough the 2009 Bring and Buy details are up and in the calendar.
Here’s how it works, First and foremost it’s a motorhomefun get together. So the prerequisite for any fun event is of course having fun in any such way YOU wish to.
However this one has a slight twist. At this gathering you can bring along any motorhome gadget that you wish to sell, place It for sale outside your van and let another funster buy it. The idea is that we all have at least one useless bit of kit we have bought that never gets or got used.
For those worried ones, you do not have to sell or buy anything but the option is there.
Please try and restrict it to motrohome stuff.
Please note this is not car a car boot sale to get rid of your aunties vases!
The Venue
The Venue chosen is the Cotton Arms Public house and Caravan site in Wrenbury Cheshire.
The venue can be found here Cotton Arms at Wrembury
This Venue is 5 miles from the wonderful historic market town of Nantwich. There are regular busses to and from the town.
The venue is canal side and the canal can be fished.
There is a small shop within 5 mins walk, fantastic canalside walks as well.
Dogs welcome of any size
There is of course a pub on site, which offers first class pub meals, and would you believe it sells alcohol, should the weather be poor. Although we would anticipate a BBQ in true fun fashion.
Access to the site is good and suitable for RVs of all sizes. The roads from the main road to the site some 3 miles in country are good but you may wish to contact me for the best route as oppose to letting your sat nav take you in.
The Price-
Well it’s cheap, I have managed to negotiate a price of £4.50 per night, per unit if you take your rubbish away with you. Should you wish to leave your rubbish then £5.50 per night.
There are no electric hook ups on the rally field.
This meet is the week before the RV meet in Oswestry and an ideal location for those travelling on afterward.
The date of the gathering is from Thursday 18th June to Sunday 21st of June. Those of you wishing to arrive before this date may do but please contact me prior and for those that wish to stay on after this is no problem
This is my first static gathering I have offered to host so please help by showing your support and lending your gazebo to the cause.
booking arrangements are simple, please pm me or post your intention to attend, I will confirm Nos with the site the week prior and pay a deposit and payment is made on leaving.
This is a great get together of funsters for any first timer to join us on.

Bryan and Suzy (Bryan and Suzy oddly enough)
