Typical!!

Bought a NEW 240V and installed only a couple of months back!!

I couldnt bloodywell win an argument!!

P.S. anyone want a 110V transformer/charger unit to go with it. ?? It was bypassed by Westcroft when converted when new and has probably only ever been used on PDI.

Hi ScotJimland,

I,ve just changed RV's and my "new" one only has microwave and no conventional oven too. Trying to decide whether to replace with a combination M/W-Convection oven or to buy a free standing mini oven. The latter is the least costly but space for a free standing mini oven is a problem. How do the Yanks manage to cook with only a M/W oven?

Pity yours isn't a combi. Would gladly have taken it. I'm sure there must be someone out there whose 110v M/W is on the blink.

Hi NEV3

Our microwave was little more than a glorified bread bin, Jan occasionally used it to make herself a cup of cocoa..

We have a decent SMEV gas cooker with oven that the previous owner installed but I wanted an electric oven to save on gas and get the full benefit of the EHU .. hence the purchase of the Bush mini oven which fits perfectly where the Panasonic was..
We also have a twin plate Russell Hobs table top cooker that sits nicely on top of gas cooker.. so when on EHU .. no LPG is used..

I do miss the bread bin though .. :roflmto:

They b.b.q. Or re-heat pre-prepared/take away`s!!!. Seriously the americans do a lot of Eating Out, A very large number of the Campgounds we used Had resturaunts, and If you ordered the breakfast you needed "crampons" to scale them!!.

Still got a 110V Transformer/converter/charger unit, to go with Jim`s M-wave? donation to the RNLI plus shipping.?
