I too have the same problem as johng with the Winnie's lights

On the way home from London (when I picked her up) it came dark...........so I switched the headlights on, :thumb: Where were they??

All I could see was these two spotlights around 12ins in diamiter about 6ft in front of me.....like tilly lamps It didn't help the fact that the main beam refused to ignite.

I pulled over at the next layby to see if my lights had fallen out or if a dead moose was stuck to the front that I had ran over and not noticed as I was too busy trying to keep the piece of sticky tape inline with the curb :Eeek: (it does have moose horns fitted tho)
But not a thing........all looked o.k........the pilot light was lit on the headlights and everything :thumb:
I did at one stage put my lighter up to the windscreen to see if I could see better :winky:

My problem is that on the winnie they are twin sealed units as seen below:

It says General Electrics "Halogan" on the lense......I did email a Winnebago specialist in the states about upgrades but still waiting for a reply

Anyone know the answer please?

I got an email back today (took them long enough to come up with this) but they suggest taking out the single beam out and replacing them with a twin headlight. (so both lights have headlights and main beam)

Not a bad idea I think ::bigsmile:

Anyone know if the 3 prong connectors are standard or easy to get?

Most motorfactors or Autoelectricians should be able to supply a headlight plug kit.
When we had our Winnie, the headlights were the same as Toyota MR2, Supras and some Mazda's.
