We came through at 8 this morning having overnighted at Boulogne. Our train delayed by 30 mins. Saw no 'foriegners' and approach road was clear. No problems at all. Did see one imigrant on the M20 though being apprehended by two police officers. Hope they put him on a lorry going to France!

Don't know if any one else has noticed this but they have put a wire fence around the tunnel terminal in France , maybe 20 foot high BUT there is a two foot gap at the bottom where anything can get under, don't understand it.

I reckon we should get a fleet of lorries with easy access for our immigrant friends and when they all aboard hiding we turn round and drop them off in italy or elsewhere
Well seeing as we import more than we export most of the trucks going back Europe are empty there should be plenty of room for a few thousand a day

why don't they electrify the fence to stop them climbing over, going under .. or cutting through it ?

They can't do that, the immigrant caught here becomes our problem. Similarly, the French can't ship theirs over the border into Italy.

The cynic would suspect this provides an incentive for European countries to pass on the immigrants to the next country on their route.

Strange really. :Eeek: Families from Luton fly to Turkey, then on to Syria, whilst at the same time families from Syria swim the Mediterranean then try to get here. This surely must be the Eastern equivalent of the schools exchange programme?? :(

Well you have been quiet lately as has a female from South Norfolk.
Thought you may have ran away together :h::h::h:
It's always a possibility. That bird from ABBA was always on the phone, pestering me for a date.......And Debbie Harry.............:(:(. But hey, I'm a one wife sort of guy.

Still making mistakes! But they're not as costly.
So after all the 'funny' replies, no one has actually seen any problems at Calais. Fine. All is normal then. :)

:sleep:It is Fun. However, it would be nice once in while if the thread had a bit of useful information in the replies. I'll be getting the tunnel from Calais in a wee while and it would've been nice to know what was happening. But on ya go. Have ya fun.
