ideally you use them with solar and a good bank of batteries .
at 30watts that will soon drain a battery.
many do use them that winter abroad but again solar is the answer. and in winter spain etc is ideal.

on EHU great, use whilst driving, fine but a constant 3 amp load will take a toll on the batteries if left plugged in overnight without travelling and no sun to top up via solar.

That is a VERY "mini" freezer, internal size just 6.25 x 9 x 8.25

3 amps isnt that bad.......18 hrs from a single 110ah battery down to 50%.

But....its a compressor fridge so will probably be running 30 to 40 minutes per hour....thats near enough 25 to 30 hrs on one battery.
