After reading about this site from @Munchie and @DBK we thought we should pay a visit on our way north. What a fab setting with the mountains all around but a distant view of the sea, stunning!! I mentioned @Munchie and @DBK and he remembered poor Mrs DBK breaking her arm but went pale and quiet when I mentioned @Munchie although perked up at the mention of Steph!! Strange!!
The owner was really helpful and gave us some fantastic cycle routes although it is so hot I'm not sure how far we'll get!!
Oh well there is always the pool!!

I guess the cherries will be over now? The guy in charge Ivan* is mega-helpful.

Is it very far from the site, it's tooooooo hot to walk far! Just ridden 16kms and it felt like 60!!

It is on a road above the campsite, but not the lower one just above the site, the one above that. Might be easier to ask at the office. He has a better local map if you ask him.

If it's hot you don't want to be going far. Martin got sun stroke walking the 10,000 steps walk on 31st December one year! It's definitely one to do in the right conditions and if you have a harness and rope you can descend the barranco del infierno .

We prefer cycling but the 16 km ride we did this morning was a killer on these hills with the temperatures so high. Just went for a walk but only did 3kms as its now 42°. We've admitted defeat and now waiting for the pool to reopen at 4.30pm!! Might head to Denia a day earlier than planned as we won't be doing anymore cycling here
