Looks very good, also like your choice of accompaniment (seeded bread, butter, beer and nuts), hope your enjoying the racing as well.

Only possibly too big!! This is the reason I like to do the shopping when we are going away for a weekend. Proper food in sensible quantities and no fear (absolutley none) of running out.

Had one for 5 years many moons ago. Now starting again.
Being a delicate old soul I usually manage both frites and a lovely bit of baguette. Shame to waste all those juices.

One of my favourite too, with a very dry and nice white wine and garlic and Persil in the juice!!
....And of course a crunchy fresh baguette to dip in the juice ... Yummy ... I'm dreaming of holidays...

Amicalement

Frankie:)

I do hope something is lost in translation, Basil maybe, but Persil is soap powder in the UK :)

David :)

Moules pain is not a bad substitute, far better for mopping up the juice :)
Indeed - had a brilliant Moules at the Wheatsheaf, Edith Weston with both fries & bread... the fries unfinished because the bread was essential.

Hell's teeth.:)

Escargots for starter. Crusty baguette for the load of butter.

Moules frites for mains. Crusty baguette for the sauce.

Just lead me to the Creme Brulee and I have landed in heaven.(y)

I am still none the wiser, but grateful for the reply, when we meet one day all will become clear, maybe :)
