Hi all, i found this thing in the cab of the new van, brand new in the packet . Anyone got any clue as to what it is?

If anything's not working, it's probably part of that

If everything's working fine, then someone probably left it there by mistake.

Could it be something to do with inbuilt sat nav / reversing camera? Maybe something not needed?

On second thoughts, there are a lot of 'little' coloured wires so possibly some sort of alarm?

Ive had alarm and tracker fitted and seem to work fine. I called the fitter and he says its nothing he has left or seen.

Its an intelometer. You attach the two wires to a couple of traffic policemen. The resulting joint signal is transmitted to the black unit. When that is plugged into your van GPS, it tells you just where the hidden lay-bys, out of the way snoozing locations, and every take away for a radius of ten miles are located.

Well what ever it is it would not be for anything to do with bluetooth, gps, or any other very light amperage thing..
It looks like it is pretty heavy duty, and maybe related to battery linking
