I should say "I more than happy if a post is in plain old FULL english words that I can read - understand" ( mostly ) instead of having to look up what they mean.

OMFG I will never remember all them:D
The thing Chris you would never be allowed to use that word in full on the forum, yet it's "ok" to use internet slang...... I'm sure many folk on here take offence just the same when reading it ( that is if they understand it! )

Don't know how you will get all those past predictive spelling on the iPad etc.

Might just stick with LH.

What ever we do we must not move forward...

We must stay living in the past as we did all those years ago, when life was so much better.

We don't need fountain pens. Messy things that leak. Much better to use a dip pen and ink wells (then you can make little sodden balls of ink and blotting paper and flick them at Spurway II in the front row).

Those stupid computer things! What a waste of space. What is wrong with sending and receiving good old letters in envelopes with stamps on them.

Motorhome enthusiasts can use the local village hall for monthly get togethers... who needs forums in that silly internet nonsense.

Typing?

It will never catch on... waste of time.

And as for shortening phrases and sayings in order to make life a little easier and more convenient... rubbish... only for lazy people who can't be bothered.

Does it matter if words are accidently forgotten but readers can still understand the meaning?

I remember the Sunday Sport had a special section in the newspaper headed "Tits on TV".

This gave the timings and channels when they would appear.

A useful guide I thought:D
