Well done mate. I did a first there too a couple of years ago towing my trike. Was my first ride around the middle field. Lovely site and views. Didn't see any ospreys though ,was sad about that

Still here, still got battery, still got gas

Went for a little drive - to Lyddington Bedehouse and then onto Kirby Hall...

IMHO, Bedehouse not worth the bother but the village of Lyddington is pretty.
The ruins of Kirby Hall are interesting, demonstration of the work English Heritage do.

Back on site - my original spot is now marked off for a rally. No bother, located 100ft to left.
Due to too much sun yesterday, I experimented briefly with putting out the awning but the breeze was worrying so I gave up on that .
Good job cos it blew a bit of a hooley for a couple of hours. Now got an issue with my flyscreen on my big heiki .

Love the icecream van that patrols the site around 5.30!

Wind died down - new arrivals exhibiting herding instinct ... I guess its a bit of "where shall we park?" - "look at them over there, must be a good spot" .
I'm watching TV (trying to load battery is my excuse), nearby tenters are playing Boules .
