Does anyone know what make of tap this is?
It's a shower tap fitted in a 2002 Autotrail Scout. I've contacted AT and they've said they can't help as it's not the original, that evidently was gold coloured, (don't know who found it necessary to change all 3 taps in the mh at once.) I think they're lying to me, but what can I do.

Ebay has loads of bathroom type places advertising, get a few phone numbers / email addresses and talk to them.

It's leaking, but only after it's been used

Looks a bit like a Reich tap to me, you can get a new cartridge insert for them for about a tenner off eBay (y)

I did the Autotrail factory tour last week ( very interesting too.. ) and the guide told us that all of their taps were currently available to buy in B & Q

Dawn. Didn't know you showered.

Seriously, exactly where is it leaking from. Is it from the bottom of the flexible tube on the left in the photo? In that case all you probably need is a rubber washer.

Hi Dawn if you go for normal house hold taps and your pipes are 12 mm I have some push fit 15 mm to 12 mm reducers if you need a couple ;)

I've been told it needs a new ceramic cartridge, but without knowing the make it's not that easy.
And anyway, 3p doesn't buy much

Would rather fix if poss. as whole bathroom will need to be dismantled to get to pipes

If its leaking after you have finished using it and switched it off then I am not sure it is the ceramic cartridge. More likely to be a leaking joint where the flexible shower hose goes into the main body of the tap. When you switch the shower off the flexible hose is full of water and that is when it starts leaking out at the bottom. As I say if you can tell us where it is leaking from then we would know better.

It's leaking from the tap, where it swivels

Yep they all do.

Everytime.
They could be Spanish. I've had/have loads.
They either leak within no time of installing or they'll never leak. I think they are a generic & just badged differently for various 'makers'.
If you can get a new insert that's probably the best way to go.

We had a leaking kitchen tap in the Burstner and it turned out it was the cartridge had gone kaput. Johns Cross sorted it out for us and sure they could help you.
